Hey there! I was planning on writing a new post yesterday but that plan kind of failed because I went to church, visited family, had a birthday and spent a lot of time on making Christmas cards. But I promise that I write and publish a blogpost later this week. So even though I haven’t been able to write something yet, I still have this blogpost with some song recommendations. Here are another few songs I love from my favourite Spotify playlist: Mellow Pop.
Looking back on the past 5 years that I spent in secondary school, one of the days that I will never forget is December 4th, 2015. I was in the 4th year at the time and all the German classes of the 4th year (which were actually only 2) would be going to Cologne, Germany that day. We were going to visit a museum, the big cathedral that you can see in the picture above and the most exciting of all, a Christmas market that was next to the big cathedral.
Summer. It feels like forever ago. Still, I can remember it like it was yesterday. I have done some really fun things last summer, that I haven’t shared anywhere yet. So a few days ago I came up with the idea to share my yet unshared adventures of last summer. And there are lots of beautiful pictures included.
(Because these mountains look just as beautiful and magical as the music you’re about to listen to)
I want to write something, but what? is what I wonder while sitting on my bed. It’s 11 pm. It’s like the later at night it is, the more productive and fuller of inspiration I am.
It actually doesn’t take me long to think of something to write about. It’s going to be about my favourite music playlist. It’s a playlist on Spotify and it has been my favourite playlist for quite a while now. Well, it has actually been my favourite for 2 years now. Now you might have started to wonder what kind of playlist that is, that it has been my favourite for that long. Well, all I can do is showing you my favourite songs that have been in that playlist the past 2 years.
Last summer holiday I went to Bulgaria for two weeks. But it wasn’t like any vacation I had ever been on before, I volunteered in an orphanage there. Before I went there I didn’t really know what to expect and I was overall very curious about how much I would like it there. Well, I can you tell now that it was like nothing I had ever expected.
Welcome to my new blog. Maybe you already knew me before this blog and maybe you didn’t. I used to have a Dutch blog, but I decided that I wanted to start all over again with a blog in English, which is this one. My name is Margriet and I’m a 17 years old girl from The Netherlands with a passion for writing and exploring new things. I love adventures, it doesn’t matter if they’re big or small, adventures make life more fun. This is also the reason why I named my blog ‘An Adventurer At Heart’. It’s because this blog is about me and I feel like that those words describe me the best. I’ll be back within a few days (it actually might even be tomorrow) with my first real blogpost. Thank you for reading this!
