Nowadays most people don’t really send Christmas cards anymore. Now that there’s social media, sending cards to wish people a merry Christmas seems kind of unnecessary. Why would you spend money on cards and stamps if you could also just sent people a message for free? Well, I’ll tell you why: a card has so much more meaning than just a simple message. A card is more personal and it can really show people how grateful you are to have them in your life. The people I’ve sent my Christmas cards too are worth the money and time I put into making them. It can put a smile on someone’s face because receiving rarely happens nowadays and because that it can make someone very happy. Now you can buy Christmas cards in shops but I think it’s way more fun to make the Christmas cards yourself. Curious how my cards turned out this year? Let me show you.
In this post, I’m not going to tell you step by step I’ve made all my cards. In this post I’m showing you some of what I’ve made, hoping to inspire you to also make some beautiful Christmas cards. If you’re reading this on the day that this blogpost has been published, it’s probably too late send the Christmas cards but you can also just make some cards for family or friends that live nearby. Or you could still send cards, but then wishing people a happy new year instead of a merry Christmas.
So if you’re still looking for a fun activity to do on Christmas, get all of your crafts stuff out of the drawers and go make some Christmas cards. And please don’t forget that they do not have to look perfect as long as you create them with love.
Have a nice day-before-Christmas-day!😉
