I’ve to got to admit that I’m someone who really likes shopping, but I absolutely love thrift shopping. Secondhand, sometimes even rarely
1. Green chiffon blouse
First of all, I might have just spent 10 minutes searching for the name of the fabric this blouse was made of, but I found it, it’s a chiffon blouse. This pretty blouse did not come from a nearby thrift store at all. No, I bought it in Prague, Czech Republic, when I was on trip there with a few friends earlier this year. I have honestly forgotten the name of the thrift store or the price of this item, but I can tell you one thing, it was not expensive at all. And something also very funny is that this item is originally from Forever 21, which is a very popular brand. So in case you were wondering,
2. Biscuits vintage tin
My mom has a big love for vintage things and I guess I kind of inherited that because I too, absolutely love vintage. A vintage thing I really like are vintage tins. One of my recent finds is this one. I think it cost me around 1 euro. Crazy cheap, right? What I love about vintage tins is that they do not only look super cool and cute as interior, you can also put a lot of stuff inside it. So that way you can create a lot more storage space, while making a place look cuter. What more do you want?
3. Snowflakes mug
I bought this lovely mug during the same shopping spree as when I bought the tin from above. Both purchases were made at a thrift store which is actually located next to the university I’m attending. So I drop by there every once and while to see if there’s anything I like. Now that Christmas and the winter season aren’t that far away anymore, I am loving having this mug on my desk. I love the snowflake design and the fact that they are red because I’ve been loving that color a lot lately.
4. Black jacket
There’s a blogger on Instagram who I follow, who also sells some clothes on there every once in a while. She was also selling this jacket. This one isn’t completely thrifted because she had actually never worn it before, the price tag was even still on it. But it does show that sometimes people do brand new stuff away because they find themselves not liking it after all. And in thrift stores, these things are labeled as
5. Snowman cushion
And the last thing for now is this adorable cushion! I feel like it was handcrafted. And this is also perfect with the upcoming Christmas and winter season. I bought at a bazaar of a local church and the minute I laid my eyes on it, I was in love with it! And this also cost me only a few euros. Ugh, thrift prices make me love thrift shopping more and more every day.
While writing this post, I have come to the realization that I have so much more
