Do It Yourself: Christmas cards

Nowadays most people don’t really send Christmas cards anymore. Now that there’s social media, sending cards to wish people a merry Christmas seems kind of unnecessary. Why would you spend money on cards and stamps if you could also just sent people a message for free? Well, I’ll tell you why: a card has so much more meaning than just a simple message. A card is more personal and it can really show people how grateful you are to have them in your life. The people I’ve sent my Christmas cards too are worth the money and time I put into making them. It can put a smile on someone’s face because receiving rarely happens nowadays and because that it can make someone very happy. Christmas songs, movies and books you need to know about

There are only a few more days left until Christmas and I’m very excited!! I am a big lover of Christmas. And these aren’t the typical Christmass things like a song as All I want for Christmas is by Mariah Carey or a movie like Home Alone. No, I’m hoping to introduce you to some new Christmas stuff. I hope this will get you in the Christmas mood if you weren’t already 😉

But now I’m back with the outfit posts. All this time I’ve only started to love fashion more and more. Not that my style is really unique or something, but I do love fashion. I’m also anything but a model, meaning that I’m better behind the camera than I’m in front of it. But I always like the result of the shoots and I love sharing my outfits with you. And that makes it all worth it. Today’s outfit photos were made on a snowy day during the 45 minutes that day that it didn’t snow.

It’s a winter wonderland

Nowadays, snowfall is something very rare in The Netherlands. I know from childhood memories that there have been times that it used to be different, that there would be winters so cold that we could ice skate on our town’s lake. But now everything has changed and I know it’s because of climate change. The thought of that saddens me. Climate change is something I do want to talk about, but that will be in another blogpost. This one is going to be about the lovely snowy weather I’ve experienced the past weekend. Let me show you a beautiful, magical winter wonderland.
